IPL 2018: Delhi Daredevils win toss, elect to bowl first

Kolkata, Apr 16 (IBNS): Delhi Daredevils captain Gautam Gambhir won the toss and elected to bowl first against Kolkata Knight Riders in the 11th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Eden Gardens here on Saturday.

Delhi Daredevils captain Gautam Gambhir will play against his former franchise Kolkata Knight Riders for the first time in this edition of the IPL.

The Delhi man opted out from Knight Riders after captaining the team for seven years.

While Delhi Daredevils registered their victory in their last match against Mumbai Indians, local team Knight Riders were outplayed by Sunrisers Hyderabad in a low-scoring game last Saturday.

Both the teams have so far won one match in the competition.

DD squad: Gautam Gambhir (c), Jason Roy, Rishab Pant (wk), Shreyas Iyer, GLen Maxwell, Chris Morris, Rahul Tewatia, Shabhaz Nadeem, Trent Boult, Mohammad Shami.

KKR squad: Dinesh Karthik (c, wk), Kuldeep Yadav, Nitish Rana, Shubman Gill, Shivam mavi, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Piyush Chawla, Tom Curran, Robin Uthappa, Chris Lynn.
