IPL 2019: Kings XI Punjab thrash Mumbai Indians by 8 wickets

Mohali, Mar 30 (IBNS): Ravichandran Ashwin's Kings XI Punjab thrashed Mumbai Indians by eight wickets in the 12th edition of Indian Premier League at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium here on Saturday.

Chasing a target of 177, Punjab scored the required runs with eight balls left.

Lokesh Rahul remained unbeaten at 71.

Mayank Agarwal and Chris Gayle scored 43 and 40 runs respectively.

Earlier, Mumbai scored 176/7 in 20 overs. Quinton de Kock was the top scorer for Mumbai with his 60-run knock.
