Abu Dhabi/UNI: Delhi Capitals beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 6 wickets and qualified for the IPL 2020 play-offs at number two position, at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium, here on Monday.

Batting first, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 152/7 in 20 overs. Devdutt Padikkal was the top-scorer for RCB with 50 off 41, followed by AB de Villiers (35 off 21) and captain Virat Kohli (29 off 24).

Pacer Anrich Nortje was the star performer for Delhi Capitals with bowling figures of 3/33, while Kagiso Rabada (2/30) picked up two wickets and Ravichandran Ashwin (1/18) took the important wicket of Kohli.

In reply, Shikhar Dhawan (54 off 41) and Ajinkya Rahane (60 off 46) scored brilliant fifties, as DC chased down the target of 153 with six balls to spare.

With this win, Delhi Capitals finish at the second spot with 16 points and will face Mumbai Indians in the first qualifier.

Meanwhile, Royal Challengers Bangalore also entered the playoffs, after DC took more than 17.3 overs to complete their chase. RCB finished with 14 points in 14 matches.

Now, the winner of the match between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will decide the 4th team to enter the next stage. An SRH loss would see KKR going through and vice-versa.
