IPL auctioneer Hugh Edmeades returns

Bengaluru/UNI: IPL auctioneer Hugh Edmeades has returned for the final set of bidding here on Sunday. 

Edmeades was welcomed with a standing ovation by all the members of 10 franchises present at the 2022 IPL mega auction.

The IPL auctioneer had an unfortunate fall due to postural hypotension on Day 1 of the auction.

The medical team attended to him immediately after the incident. Charu Sharma replaced Edmeades and carried the auction proceedings on Day 1.

Sharma also conducted the bidding on Day 2 before Edmeades returned for the final session.
