IPL: CSK thrash Delhi by 93 runs

Abu Dhabi, Apr 21 (IBNS): Chennai Super Kings (CSK) registered a thumping 93 runs victory over Delhi Daredevils here on Monday.

Posting 177 for seven on the scorecard, CSK restricted Delhi to 84 in 15.4 overs.

Delhi batsmen surrendered before the CSK bowlers who bowled well in the match.

Only skipper Dinesh Karthik (21) and Jimmy Neesham (22) crossed the 20-run mark.

Ishwar Pandey, R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja picked up two wickets in the match.

Ben Hilfenhaus, Mohit Sharma and Dwayne Smith took one apiece.

Earlier, riding on Suresh Raina's 56 and and MS Dhoni's quick-fire 15-ball 32, CSK posted 177 for seven.

Raina his five boundaries and a six in his knock while Dhoni smashed two boundaries and sixes in his innings.

Jaydev Unadkat picked up three for Delhi.
