IPL: Mumbai Indians beat CSK to reach final
Posting 187 for the loss of six wickets, Mumbai Indians bowlers, led by Sri Lankan T20 World Cup winning skipper Lasith Malinga, who took three wickets by giving away 23 runs, bowled out CSK for 162 runs in 19 overs.
Lendl Simmons (65) and Kieron Pollard (41) scored with their willows as they helped the side post a competitive total on the scorecard.
Simmons hammered five sixes and three fours in his knock.
Faf du Plessis (45) and later R Ashwin (23) tried to put a strong battle against Mumbai.
However, the side kept losing wickets at regular intervals which disturbed their run chase.
R Vinay Kumar and Harbhajan Singh took two wickets each for Mumbai.
CSK will get another chance to qualify to the final.
