IPL playoffs: Sunrisers Hyderabad to take on Chennai Super Kings in first qualifier

Mumbai, May 22 (IBNS): Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on Chennai Super Kings in the first qualifier match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) playoffs at the Wankhede Stadium here on Tuesday.

Kiwi captain Kane Williamson-led Hyderabad finished at the top of the IPL points table with 18 points.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai finished at the second spot with 16 points.

The winner of Tuesday's match will reach the final of the tournament straightaway.

The loser of the match will get another opportunity to qualify for the final. They will play against the winner of the eliminator match, which will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Rajasthan Royals.

The first qualifier match is scheduled to begin at 7 pm.
