Nagpur, Mar 5 (UNI) Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja joined cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar and 1983 World Cup winning team captain Kapil Dev in an elite ODI-double list of Indian all-rounders as he became the third Indian player to score 2,000 runs and take 150 wickets in One-Day International (ODI) during the second ODI of the five-match series against Australia here at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium (VCA) in Nagpur on Tuesday.

During his 21-run knock, he achieved the milestone. The all-rounder and skipper Virat Kohli, who scored a majestic century (116), added crucial 57-run for the seventh wicket partnership, helping India to get past the 225-run mark.

Last year, he made a brilliant come back in the ODI team after a gap of 442 days in the Asia Cup held in UAE. He termed the come back most memorable.

Sachin Tendulkar scored 18,426 runs and took 154 wickets in his illustrious 22-year ODI career. While Kapil Dev made 3,783 runs and bagged 254 wickets in his career in the format.

So far, Jadeja has appeared in 148 ODIs in which he has taken 171 wickets. The 30-year-old all-rounder made his international debut in 2009 T20 World Cup.
