Hyderabad, Oct 14 (IBNS): With his fifth five-wicket haul and dismiss India for 367 runs in the first innings of the second Test at Hyderabad, West Indies fast bowler Jason Holder added a record in his bag on Sunday.

Holder, the West Indies skipper,  registered himself in history books as the bowler with best bowling average in a calendar year in the past 100 years.

The achievement was recognized by the ICC as the cricket council tweeted: "What a year it has been for Jason Holder!."

However, Holder and his team were defeated in the second Test match by India by 10 wickets.

India defeated the side to clinch the series 2-0.
