Jos Buttler rules out of NatWest International T20 against New Zealand
"The wicketkeeper-batsman split the skin at the base of his left thumb in training yesterday morning ahead of the fifth and final Royal London Series one-day international versus the Black Caps," read the England and Wales Cricket Board website.
"Buttler has been replaced for the ODI by Jonny Bairstow and a decision on a replacement for the T20 will be made after today’s match," it said.
