Kashmir skier Arif Khan qualifies for Beijing Winter Olympics 2022

Srinagar/IBNS: Arif Khan, a top level alpine skier from J&K, has secured his place in the upcoming Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.

Arif who is a well known figure in the Indian winter sports arena, secured his place in the 2022 Olympics by proving his mettle in the qualifying races around the world.

Arif is currently in Dubai where he is participating in an Olympic qualifier Alpine skiing event.

The Winter Olympics is scheduled to be held from February 4 till March 2, 2022.

Before securing a place in the Olympics, Arif had participated in nearly 100 international sporting events, including the South Asian Games, Asian Games and the World Ski Championships.

Currently, he is the only Indian skier to secure a place in Beijing Winter Olympics 2022.
