KKR appoints Simon Katich as assistant coach

Kolkata, Oct 28 (IBNS): Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday announced the appointment of Australian cricketer Simon Katich as the new assistant coach of the team.

"Proud to announce our new assistant coach! Welcome Simon Katich!" KKR tweeted.

Katich had played 56 Tests and 45 ODIs for Australia.

He represented his nation in 3 T20 matches.
