Kolkata to host Star Sports Young Heroes

Kolkata, Aug 24 (IBNS): After a grand opening, Star Sports Young Heroes is all set to kick start the campaign in Kolkata where matches will be played between Aug 25 to Aug 26 at the Howrah Municipal Corporation Stadium, 8 am onwards.

Members of High Life Management congregated at Calcutta Sports Journalists Club on Saturday to divide 64 selected schools from West Bengal into 16 groups, where each school will play three matches in the group stage.

In order to identify young talent the Country’s largest student direct contact programme from the very grassroots through scouting program, Young Heroes promoted by Star Sports along with Parle Products and IDBI Federal life Insurance aims to provide guidance and a platform to under-15 footballers from over 650 schools across 15 cities in India.
