Leander-Martina reach French Open semis

Paris, June 2 (IBNS): Indian Tennis icon Leander Paes and his mixed doubles partner Martina Hingis cruised to the semi-finals of the French Open here on Thursday.

They reached the last four stage of the tournament by beating Elena Vesnina and Bruno Soares 6-4 6-3 in the quarter-finals.

They might meet other Indian star Sania Mirza and her Croatian partner Ivan Dodig who have also reached the last four stage of French Open.

Paes tweeted: "Next stop semis! #RG16."
