Lobo helps Atletico de Kolkata script thrilling victory over FC Goa

Margao, Oct 23 (IBNS) Atletico de Kolkata continued their dominance in the ongoing Indian Super League as the side defeated FC Goa 2-1 here on Thursday.

It was time for celebrations for  Atletico de Kolkata  supporters as the side came from behind to script a memorable victory in this away match.

Credit went completely to Cavin Lobo as he scored twice in the contest and helped his side maintain the top position in the points table.

Arsenal player Andre Santos gave the home side a 1-0 lead in the 21st minute of the match.

Kolkata tried desperately to score the eqiualiser and both the side played more desperately in the second half of the match.

Lobo scored an equaliser in the 72nd minute and then superbly netted the match winner in the 84th minute to continue the side's dominance in the tournament.


Kolkata tops the points chart with 10 points from 4 matches so far.
