Local talents show class at Sunfeast AITA Super Series

Kolkata, Mar 29 (UNI): Local talents stole the show at Sunfeast AITA Super Series when top seed in Boys singles under-14 Arunava Majumdar blanked second seed Nithis Balaji Nalluswamy of Tamil Nadu 6-1, 6-0 played at the red clay courts of the Calcutta South Club here today.

Bengal's Mekhala Manna, seeded 1 in Girls Singles Under 16 though had a tough time as she fought hard to outclass 5th seeded Karthika Vijay of Tamil Nadu by 4-6, 7-5, 6-1.

Lakshmi Prabha Arunkumar of Tamil Nadu and Ronil Rohit Lotlikar of Karnataka lifted the Girls Singles Under 14 and Boys Singles Under 16 crown respectively.
