Mohammed Shami named in Indian squad for World T20, Asia Cup
Uncapped Pawan Negi also found a place in the 15-member squad announced on Friday
by the BCCI for the two tournaments to be played this year.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been named the skipper for both the tournaments.
The All-India Senior Selection Committee and Women’s Selection Committee met in New Delhi to select India’s team for the upcoming Asia Cup and the ICC World T20.
The India Men’s team will play the Asia Cup in Bangladesh from Feb 24-06 March followed by the ICC World T20 to be held in India from the Mar 8 to Apr 3.
Both the men’s and the women’s team will play in the ICC World T20.
Indian Team for the ICC World T20 (Men): MS Dhoni (Captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh, Ravindra Jadeja, Hardik Pandya, Ravichandran Ashwin, Jasprit Bumrah, Ashish Nehra, Ajinkya Rahane, Harbhajan Singh, Mohammed Shami, Pawan Negi.
