Chris Gayle disappointed fans as he took 24 balls to score 10 runs and was eventually dismissed by Harbhajan Singh.
AB De Villiers, who came to the crease at number 5, showed some signs of promise as he scored 41 runs of his first 10 balls. only to be caught by at long on by Kieron Pollard on the 11th delivery he faced.
Thereafter, David Wiese put up a valiant but failing effort to reach close to the target as they fell 19 runs short of the target in the end.
Harbhajan Singh took 3 wickets by conceding 27 runs during his four overs.
