Mumbai's poor show continues in IPL 7

Dubai, Apr 30 (IBNS); Current champions Mumbai Id\ndians performance in the ongoing In dian Premier League (IPL) continued tp be poor as Rohit Sharma's side was defeated by 15 runs by Sunrisers Hyderabad here on Wednesday.

Posting 172 for five on the scoreboard, Sunrisers bowlers restricted Mumbai to 157 for seven.

Kieron Pollard's battle went in vain as he got no support on the other side to reach the target.

The West Indian scored a fighting 48-ball 78 before losing his wicket in the last ball of the final over of the match by Irfan pathan.

He smashed three boundaries and six sixes in his knock.

After losing three quick wickets of Sharma (1), Corey Anderson (1) and

Ben Dunk (20)  with 31 on the scorecard, Pollard and Ambati Rayudu (35) tried to re-build the innings.

After Rayudu's dismissal, the match was all but over for Mumbai.

Dale Steyn, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Pathan picked up to wickets or Mumbai.

Earlier, David Warner's 65 and Lokesh Rahul's well made 46, Sunrisers posted 172 on the scorecard.

Warner added four sixes and a boundary in his knock.

Zaheer Khan and Anderson picked up two wickets for Mumbai.
