New Zealand win toss, opt to bat first against India in Champions Trophy final

New Zealand won the toss and opted to bat first against India in the final of the Champions Trophy in Dubai on Sunday.

Despite an injury scare, Virat Kohli will play the high-voltage final, the second ICC final India is playing in a gap of a few months since winning the T20 World Cup in the USA and West Indies last year.

This is the 12th time Rohit Sharma won the toss in a row.

India defeated New Zealand in the Group A stage match of the ongoing tournament last Sunday.

The last time India and New Zealand played in a Champions Trophy final was in 2000.

New Zealand and defeated India in the final.
