Olympic medalist PV Sindhu marries Venkata Datta Sai in Udaipur, check out the first picture

Indian badminton star PV Sindhu has tied the knot with fiance Venkata Datta Sai in Udaipur city on Sunday.

Sindhu, Olympic medal winner and badminton icon, was dressed traditionally for the occasion.

The couple took the wedding vows in the presence of friends and family members.

Indian Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat attended the marriage ceremony and shared the first image of the grand event on the social media.

The Minister wrote: "Pleased to have attended the wedding ceremony of our Badminton Champion Olympian PV Sindhu with Venkatta Datta Sai in Udaipur last evening and conveyed my wishes & blessings to the couple for their new life ahead."

According to reports, the couple will continue the celebration in Hyderabad where they will host a reception soon.

Sindhu's husband Venkata Datta Sai is the executive director at Posidex Technologies.
