Indian badminton star PV Sindhu kept hopes for another medal high after she defeated Estonia's Kristin Kuuba to reach the Round 16 stage of the ongoing Paris Olympics on Wednesday.

Sindhu displayed her skills, powerful shots and appreciatable coverage of the court to beat her opponent 21-5, 21-10 in straight sets.

She showed her aggressive stance and took 4-0 lead in the clash early.

She exerted pressure on her opponent with her powerful shots and application.

Sindhu just went ahead with the first set where she clinched it 21-5.

In the other set, the Estonian displayed a bit of improvement in her performance but continuous error commitment took her away from the game.

Sindhu took advantage of the errors her opponent committed in the game.

She will now meet a comparatively tougher opponent in the Round 16 when she will take on China’s He Bing Jiao.
