Patel congratulates Indian women on their SAG performance

New Delhi, Feb 15 (IBNS) All India Football Federation President Praful Patel congratulated the Indian Women’s for their performances in the South Asian Games.

The Indian Women won the Gold Medal as they defeated Nepal 4-0 in the Finals.

In his congratulatory message to the Women’s Team, Patel said: “Congratulations to the Women’s Team for winning the Gold Medal. I have been following the matches and the Women showed exemplary character. You make us proud. Keep up the good work.”

“It’s your moment. Cherish it and enjoy. Congratulations,” he added.

AIFF General Secretary Kushal Das also congratulated the Team for their “achievement.”

“The Team didn’t get much time to prepare for the Championship. But the manner they performed on the field was so commendable. Congratulations to each Player and support staff,” he said.
