PSL: Lahore Qalandars name Mohammad Hafeez as skipper

Lahore, Dec 9 (IBNS): Pakistani cricketer Mohammad Hafeez will lead the Lahore Qalandars side in the upcoming edition of the  Pakistan Super League.

The side confirmed the development on their Twitter page.

 

The

Lahore side tweeted: "Congratulations to @MHafeez22 on becoming #LahoreQalandars Captain For #PSL2019 #DamaDamMast."

Hafeez thanked Qalandars owner Rana Fawad for his appointment as the skipper of the side.

Hafeez said he hopes that the team will get the desired results in the upcoming season of the cash-rich tournament.

"Thank u Rana brothers & @lahoreqalandars management to give me an honour to lead their side in #PSL2019 , In shaa Allah we all together wil get the desire results this season , #WilMakeOurFansHappy Aameen ," the Pakistani cricketer tweeted.
