Punjab wins 38th BSF Inter Frontier Football Tournament

Kalyani, Sept 21 (IBNS) In a thrilling match, Punjab Frontier of BSF also known as "BSF Jalandhar" in football arena at national level defeated Gujrat Frontier of BSF to win 38th BSF Inter Frontier Football Tournament hosted by South Bengal Frontier of BSF at Kalyani in West Bengal’s Nadia district.

The tournament began on Sept 17

Teams of all eleven frontiers of BSF participated in tournament.

Central team of BSF which have won Durand Cup seven times besides being runners up twice and winning many other prestigious tournaments at National Level will be selected from all players of all teams which participated in tournament.

Host South Bengal Frontier secured third place and Meghalya Frontier secured fourth place.

Final match was played at Youth Football  Association Ground ,Kalyani,Nadia.
