Rafael Nadal suffers shock defeat in Australian Open quarter-finals
Melbourne/IBNS: Spain's leading Tennis star Rafael Nadal suffered a shocking Quater finals exit as he was defeated in the Australian Open clash by Dominic Thiem here on Wednesday.
Thiem set up a semi-final clash against Alexander Zverev.
Thiem defeated his Spanish opponent 7-6 (7/3), 7-6 (7/4), 4-6, 7-6 (8/6).
The result came to the front only after a four-set thriller.
Thiem and Zverev will play their first semi-final at Melbourne Park on Friday.
