Rashmi Group and Rice Adamas Group get franchise rights in Bengal Pro T20 League

The Cricket Association of Bengal announced the addition of two more Franchises in the Bengal Pro T20 League.

Rashmi Group and Adamas United Sports Academy, an initiative of Rice Adamas Group join in as part of the 8 strong Franchise Teams in the League.

Snehasish Ganguly, President of the Cricket Association of Bengal announcing the addition of two new Franchises said, “We are glad to have such strong and credible Groups join us in Bengal Pro T20 League. It only underlines CAB’s relentless pursuit towards unearthing talents from all across Bengal and provide them the much-needed premier platform to showcase themselves for a brighter future. I wish both Rashmi and Rice Adamas Group the very best in this journey with us.”

Bengal Pro T20 League organised by the CAB and exclusively managed by Arivaa Sports, will take place after the conclusion of this season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Each Franchise will be fielding both men’s and women’s team.

While all men’s matches shall take place at the historic Eden Gardens, women’s matches will be played at the Jadavpur University, Salt Lake Campus Ground.

Sanjib Kumar Patwari, Director of Rashmi Group expressed his excitement by saying, “Rashmi Group is thrilled to be part of Bengal Pro T20 League. We would like to take this opportunity to support the hidden talent of Bengal Cricket and encourage them to showcase their skills in this platform.” Sanjay Kumar Patwari also Director of Rashmi Group further added, “Let's aspire the cricket enthusiast across West Bengal and witness the love for Cricket from every nook and corner of the State.”

Roy’s Institute of Competitive Examination Pvt. Ltd. (RICE),set up in 1985 has been providing quality training and education to youngsters to help create the leaders of tomorrow through its 18 branches and 26 mock test centres across 13 districts in West Bengal. It is the precursor of the Adamas Group of Institutions and Adamas University.

Earlier this week, Shrachi Sports and Servotech Power Systems also got the Franchise rights. Each of these teams shall be representing a catchment area of multiple districts. The details of which shall be soon announced by the Cricket Association of Bengal.
