Roger Federer defeats India's spirited player Sumit Nagal after initial jolt

New York, Aug 27 (IBNS): India's Sumit Nagal gave Swiss master Roger Federer as he defeated him in the first set but then went down in the first round match of the US Open here on Tuesday.

 

Federer defeated the Indian young player 4-6, 6-1, 6-2, 6-4.

Federer beat the Indian player at  Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York to reach the second round of the tournament.

Federer made a major comeback in the match after the initial jolt.
