Rohit, Karn in as India bats in fourth ODI at Eden

Kolkata, Nov 13 (IBNS): Captain Virat Kohli has won the toss and has opted to bat in the fourth one-day international (ODI) match against Sri Lanka which will undergo shortly at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

India team has made many changes. Rohit Sharma came in in place of Shikhar Dhawan, Karn Sharma and Stuart Binny come in for Ravichandran Ashwin and Ishant Sharma.

Robin Uthappa came in place of Wriddhiman Saha, who has been given a break for the last two one-dayers.

With the fate of the series already sealed, team India opt to test some of the other key players by giving them a chance in the fourth ODI.

With World Cup is lurking round the corner, and none of the players would want to miss the plane to Australia and New Zealand.

The likes of Umesh Yadav and Akshar Patel have made full use of this series by putting in impressive performances.

Even Ambati Rayudu comes with his reputation enhanced by capitalizing on the rare chance of batting at no. 3.

Now, Indian team management has gone into experimentation mode.

The selectors have decided that they have seen enough of Shikhar Dhawan to be assured, and he has been given a break.

This makes way for the much anticipated return of Rohit Sharma.

Also included in the team all rounder Stuart Binny and bowler Karn Sharma.

Robin Uthappa, who has been having an excellent domestic run, has been included in the squad for the final two ODIs and this might be the final chance for him to make an impression.

However, this has turned on the heat for someone like Ravindra Jadeja who has been out-bowled by all-rounder Akshar Patel throughout.
