Badminton sensation Saina Nehwal slammed southern actor Siddharth for his sexist comment and said his remark was not 'nice'.

Talking to News18, Saina said, “Ya I’m not sure what he meant. I used to like him as an actor but this was not nice."

The development happened recently following a tweet posted by Saina over the issue of 'security breach' of PM Narendra Modi's convoy during his visit to Punjab.

Saina had tweeted: "No nation can claim itself to be safe if the security of its own PM gets compromised. I condemn, in the strongest words possible, the cowardly attack on PM Modi by anarchists. #BharatStandsWithModi #PMModi."

The southern actor retweeted Saina's post with a comment: "Subtle cock champion of the world... Thank God we have protectors of India.Shame on you #Rihanna."

The actor's comment earned the wrath of social media users.
