Saina reaches Australian Open semis
Sydney, June 27 (IBNS): Indian badminton star Saina Nehwal reached the semi-final of the Star Australian Super Series by beating Eriko Hirose of Japan here on Friday.
Saina defeated her opponent 21-18, 21-9.
The clash lasted for 47 minutes.
India's P.V. Sindhu lost her quarterfinal clash against Carolina Marin of Spain by 17-21, 17-21.
