Saina, Srikanth win India Open titles

New Delhi, Mar 29 (IBNS): Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth on Sunday clinched the India Open Super Series title by winning the men's singles final here.

He defeated Viktor Axelsen of Denmark by 18-21, 21-13, 21-12 to win the title.

A day after reaching the top spot on the badminton women's players rankings, Indian shuttler  Saina Nehwal  won her maiden India Open Super Series title by beating Ratchanok Intanon.

She won the women's singles title by beating her opponent from Thailand by 21-16, 21-14. The clash lasted for 49 minutes.
