Team India squad for T20 World Cup announced, Jasprit Bumrah returns
India's premier fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah returned to the Indian squad which were announced for the upcoming T20 World Cup by the selectors Monday.
Bumrah, who missed the Asia Cup 2022, returned to the squad recovering from his injury.
India's two wicketkeeper-batsmen for the tour are Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik.
Ace spin bowler Ravichandran Ashwin has also found a berth in the squad.
India, who had a forgettable performance in the last T20 World Cup in 2021, will play their tournament opener against arch-rival Pakistan Oct 23.
The Indian team for the upcoming T20I series against Australia and then South African were also announced Monday.
