Two Indian hockey players Covid-19 positive

Bengaluru/UNI: Two players and three members of the support staff of the Indian Men's hockey team, currently preparing for the Commonwealth Games, have tested positive for Covid-19 here.

The RT PCR tests were conducted on Wednesday morning. They have mild symptoms and have been isolated, Hockey India said.

India reported 18,819 new Covid-19 cases while the toll went up by 39 in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said Thursday.

In the same span of time, 13,827 Covid-19 patients have recovered across the country.
