Kolkata, Apr 16 (IBNS): There's a new partnership at the IPL this year, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Uber have got together to transform how KKR fans experience the IPL.

KKR fans can leave their cars and worries about navigating traffic and parking behind and simply Uber it to any IPL match, across India*! They can request an Uber at the push of a button and a comfortable air-conditioned car will arrive within minutes to take them to the stadium for as low as Rs.9/KM.

Venky Mysore, CEO, Kolkata Knight Riders said, “We are constantly looking for ways to improve the IPL experience for our fans; with Uber as our official logistics partner we have ensured that everyone has a safe, convenient and hassle-free option to reach the matches or join friends in celebrating.”

“The Kolkata Knight Riders are an amazing franchise and we are excited to be an official partner. At Uber, we strive to provide safe, reliable and convenient rides. We wanted to allow fans to focus on enjoying the match, rather the worry about dealing with the woes of logistics and parking.” said Ashwin Dias, GM Kolkata, Uber.
