US Open: Sania-Soares reach mixed-doubles final
New York, Sept 4 (IBNS): Indian Tennis icon Sania Mirza and his mixed-doubles partner from Brazil Bruno Soares will face America's Abigail Spears and Mexican Santiago Gonzalez in the final of the US Open event.
Sania and her partner cruised to the final by beating British player Ross Hutchins and Taiwan's Yung-Jan Chan 7-5, 4-6, 10-7 in the semi-final.
Spears and Gonzalez defeated the US pair Taylor Townsend and Donald Young 6-3, 6-4 to reach the final.
