Melbourne, Feb 22 (IBNS) India post 307 for the loss of seven wickets in a group stage match of the World Cup against South Africa here on Sunday.

Shikhar Dhawan top scored with his 137 runs.

Morne Morkel  picked up two wickets for South Africa.

MS Dhoni earlier won the toss and elected to bat first.
