World Cup: England beat Panama 6-1 to reach last 16 stage

Nizhny Novgorod, June 24 (IBNS): England put up a spirited performance which helped them beat Panama in the World Cup clash to move to the last 16 stage of the tournament here on Sunday.

The Group G clash witnessed England completely dominating over the opponent.

English striker Harry Kane (22nd, 45+1, 62nd minutes) scored a hat-trick to destroy the opponent.

John Stones (8th, 40th) hit two more goals while Jesse Lingard (36th) added one more to help England give half-dozen goals in the match.

For Panama, the first ever World Cup goal in the history of the country was scored by Felipe Baloy.

Baloy hit the goal in the 78th minute of the game.
