Yorkshire coach Jason Gillespie to stand down at end of season

London, Aug 29 (IBNS): Former Australian pacer Jason Gillespie will leave as the first coach of Yorkshire County Cricket Club at the end of the 2016 season.

"Yorkshire County Cricket Club can confirm that Jason Gillespie will leave his position as 1st XI coach at the end of the 2016 season," read the club website.

"The Club would like to place on record its thanks to Jason, who led Yorkshire from the second division to consecutive Championship titles, along the way suffering just five defeats in 76 Championship fixtures since his appointment in November 2011," it said.
