10 IS terrorists killed during clash in Afghanistan

Kabul, Apr 2 (IBNS): At least 10 Islamic State terrorists were killed during a clash in Dar Zab district of northern Jawzjan province of Afghanistan, media reports said on Sunday.

According to media reports, the incident left six policemen hurt.

The clash broke after IS fighters attacked a security check-post in the district at around 11am lasting one hour, Jawzjan deputy police chief Col. Abdul Hafeez Khashi told Pajhwok Afghan News.

He confirmed that 10 ISIS terrorists were killed in the incident.

The injured people were rushed to hospital for treatment.

The IS has not commented on the incident so far.
