Dhaka, June 2 (IBNS): Bangladesh's  Rapid Action Battalion (Rab)  on Sunday said 300 terrorists are hiding after securing bail since the Holy Artisan Bakery attack occurred in the country in 2016.

RAB said these 300 terrorists were caught since the attack in the case in Gulshan area of the city.

“We want to assure all that they will not be able to resurface for a long time,” Rab Director General Benazir Ahmed was quoted as saying by The Daily Star newspaper.

From what he said, Rab caught a total of 512 militants since Holey Artisan attack in 2016. Among them, 300 secured bail and went into hiding since, reported the Bangladesh-based newspaper.

“We have taken measures coordinating our intelligence with that of other intelligence agencies,” he said. “We are ready to face any challenge,” he was quoted as saying by the newspaper.

“It will be suicidal to give legal assistance to militants,” he said.
