6.5 earthquake hits Indonesia

Jakarta, Feb 12 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter Scale hit Indonesia on Friday, officials said.

The earthquake hit 3 kms east-south-east of Andekantor city, according to the USGS.

No tsunami alert has been issued following the quake.

No casualty or damage to property has been reported so far.
