Kabul/UNI: Heavy fighting was reported between the Taliban and the forces of Ahmad Massoud in Panjshir in northeastern Afghanistan on Monday, where Amrullah Saleh, who has declared himself the caretaker President, is holding out against takeover by the Taliban.
