Afghanistan: 11 injured as suicide blast hits central Logar province

Kabul, Nov 28 (IBNS): At least 11 people, including three children, were injured in a blast in  central Logar province of Afghanistan on Tuesday, media reports said.

The blast took place in Pul-i-Alam, apparently targeting provincial deputy police chief Mohammad Ayub Wardak, who escaped unhurt, the governor’s spokesman was quoted as saying by Pajhwok Afghan News.

The suicide blast took place at around 10: 30 am.

A doctor at the provincial civil hospital, Samiullah, told Pajhwok Afghan News that they had been delivered 11 injured people, including three children.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
