Afghanistan: Darqad district cleared from the Armed insurgents
Afghan National Security Forces conducted an operation on Friday to clear Taliban from the area.
Officials said 20 militants were killed during the operation.
"During this operation, 20 militants were killed and four others were wounded," Afghanistan's Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in a statement.
"The clearance operation still continues against armed insurgents in insecure villages of Darqad district," it said.
