Kabul, May 28 (IBNS): At least two suspects have been arrested  in connection with the murder case of former journalist Mina Mangal in Afghanistan's Kabul city, media reports said.

The Kabul Police reportedly said the suspects were arrested during separate operations.

According to Kabul Police, the family members of Mina Gul have also confirmed that the detained suspects were directly involved in the murder of the former journalist, reported the news agency.

Mina Mangal, a popular journalist in Afghanistan, was serving as the adviser to the Lower House of Parliament.

She was shot dead by unknown gunmen earlier this month.
