Kabul, July 1 (IBNS): Islamic State terrorists beheaded at least three people who were working as attendants for a local school in eastern Nangarhar province of Afghanistan on Saturday, media reports said on Sunday.

The provincial government media office in a statement confirmed that the ISIS Khurasan militants have beheaded three workers of Malikyar High School in Khogyani district, reported Khaama Press.

The library of the school was reportedly set on fire.

Provincial education directorate spokesman Mohammad Asif Shinwari also confirmed to Khamma Press on the brutal murder of the school attendants and said all three men were beheaded by the militants.

Nangarhar’s governor Hayatullah Hayat has expressed his sadness over the incident.

He has directed a thorough investigation into the incident.
