Afghanistan: Mortar shell attack leaves 10 people killed
Kabul/IBNS: A mortar shell landed in a busy market in Sangin district of Afghanistan which left at least 10 people killed, media reports said.
Officials have confirmed the attack but have not provided details, Tolo News reported.
No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
The incident occured at a time when Afghanistan is also witnessing a surge in COVID-19 cases.
