Afghanistan: Senior government official killed by unknown gunmen

Kabul, Sept 7 (IBNS): Unknown gunmen killed a government official in Afghanistan's Kabul city on Friday, media reports said on Saturday.

The State Ministry for Disaster Management said the official was identified as Hashmat Bahaduri.

He was serving as the deputy spokesman of the ministry in Kabul city.

The statement further added that the gunmen killed Bahaduri close to Hazrat Mohammad Mustafa Mosque in Karte Parwan area of the city, reported Khaama Press.

No terror group or individual have claimed responsibility for the incident.
