Afghanistan: US drone strike hits Watapur district, four Daesh terrorists killed

Kabul, July 3 (IBNS): At least four Daesh terrorists were killed in a US drone strike in the Watapur district of eastern Kunar province of Afghanistan, media reports said.

The deceased included two commanders of the militant group.

The drone strike took place in Sapari area of the district at about 4:30pm Sunday, killing four Daesh affiliates, Kunar police spokesman Faridullah Dehqan told Pajhwok Afghan News.

The attack took place on Sunday.
